It's probably fairly obvious that this site hasn't been updated in quite some time, and for that I apologize. As I'm sure many of you know, life gets in the way, one gets tired of doing things, etc., and this page didn't even get put on the back burner - it got taken off the stove. Since I've had such a positive response ever since I opened this site, I will do my best to fill in some of the blanks, but don't count on TOOOOOOO much - I will try my best! Thanks to all my guests for your support!

      I made this page because of my love for The Cat Who… series by Lilian Jackson Braun. I did an internet search in hopes of coming up with some facts about the author and the series that I could add to my own site, and I was extremely disappointed with the lack of information that I had found. With the exception of The Unofficial Lilian Jackson Braun Fan Club, most of what I found had extremely little or no use to me. So, I decided to dig a lot deeper and turn this site into something a lot bigger than I had originally intended it to be, but I don't really mind all that much because I love to design pages, and most importantly, I love The Cat Who… series.

      The first book by Lilian Jackson Braun that I read was The Cat Who Talked to Ghosts, and the only reason I had even grabbed it out of my mom's book collection was because I was visiting a friend at a cabin and I needed something to read. Since I love cats and mysteries and the title promised both, I lifted the cover, started to read, and fell in love.

      I finished that one, learned that my mom had several other titles on her shelf, and dug right in, my love for the series growing even more. I read The Cat Who Went Underground, The Cat Who Lived High, and The Cat Who Sniffed Glue, and had to have more. To this day I have the whole collection and have been frequenting the local bookstores impatiently waiting for the next one to come out!

      Lilian Jackson Braun, in my opinion, writes some of the best mysteries that I have ever read, and amazingly enough, she manages to keep all mentions of sex, foul language, and violence out of it. When she does mention killings and suicides and the like, those mentions are brief and not very graphic. With these qualities, her series is safe for all to read, and entertaining for all as well. The cats are very endearing, and with their remarkably human personalities, they become a big part in making the reader come back for more.
